Jealousy Chapter NINE

Hey guys, sorry it's been awhile! If you were reading this story before, re-read chapters 1-8 to remind yourself what happened =)

"He rented the whole room just for you two!?" Amanda screeched, bouncing up and down on Harmony's bed. The two friends had been sitting in her room eating ice cream out of the carton and discussing her date with Bill the previous night. "Yep, I honestly thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest, I swear it was beating at least 500 times a second." Harmony flushed pink, remembering how sweet the entire thing had been. Amanda took a giant spoonful of the Banana Split ice cream, and swallowed before continuing with her line of questioning. "Honestly Harms, I swear, every girl in the world must be so jealous of you right now." Harmony grinned from ear to ear and flopped down on the bed next to her best friend. "I have to admit, I'd be pretty jealous if it wasn't me we were talking about." She laughed out loud as Amanda shoved her over gently. "It's just...I have no idea if it went as well as I thought it did. I mean, we didn't even kiss goodnight..." She crossed her arms over her chest after getting another chunk of ice cream. "Trust me, if he went through all that trouble PLUS getting you that ridiculous amount of roses, he's definately interested. Why don't you call him and find out?" Harmony bit her nails nervously. "Should I?" Amanda nodded encouragingly, and grabbed her purple iphone before tossing it to Harmony. "Go for it."

BILL'S POV

Bill opened his eyes slowly and watched the fan on the ceiling spin around 5 times. He couldn't believe his luck, how incredible the date with Harmony had gone. After he had come home, he had shrieked like a little girl (which he was pretty sure Tom was NEVER going to let him forget..) and told Tom everything. She was perfect, but...what if he had overdone it? Were the roses too much? The restaurant too fancy? Ugh. He rolled over on his side, to see a scribbled note laying on his bed. He lifted it up and read Tom's messy hand writing. Me and the boys went out for lunch at that place a couple blocks away, you know, the one with the hot blonde waitresses. Bill rolled his eyes and glanced at the clock- already noon! Ugh, he needed to talk to someone about his date more, about what he should do. He pushed thoughts of Harmony out of his head and continued reading the note. We didn't want to wake you, after your big night and all...;) anyway, stop stressing over her. And yes, I think you should call her. Bill glanced at the note in confusion. How in the world would Tom know that's the question he would need to ask him. No, I'm not a  mind reader, just your twin. Stop being creeped out. Call her! See you soon. And just as Bill reached for his phone, he heard his familiar ringtone. Glancing at the screen with childish hope, the name Harmony flashed three times.

"Hello?" Answering the phone, Bill tried to contain his excitement.

"Hey Bill, it's Harmony. What's up?" Her voice was beautiful, so beautiful.

"Nothing really, just got ditched by my friends as they all went to lunch without me." He laughed here, showing he wasn't really angry.

"Aw, that's terrible! Well, maybe I can make your day better...how do you feel about going out for a bit right now?" Bill's heart stopped for a second.

"Just me and you?"

"Well yeah...but, I mean if you think that would be weird...aah alright I shouldn't have even asked, I mean you're busy an-" Bill cut her off.

"I'd love to. Meet me infront of Starbucks in 15." He grinned into the phone, already loving how his day was shaping up to be. He hung up the phone, and jumped on the bed, pumping his fist into the air. At that exact moment, the maid for his room walked in with her supplies, seeing Bill bouncing up and down. They locked eyes for a moment, and Bill slowly stopped bouncing, an embarassed flush spreading across his cheeks. "Weird kid..not very clean either, always leaves underwear on the bathroom floor.." she muttered under her breath, as she grabbed her cleaning supplies and left the room. Bill grinned and flopped down on the extra soft king size bed. He couldn't wait to see Harmony today.
